| Bài tóm tắt: | Este artigo pretende investigar possíveis interações entre o pensamento Tomista e Patrística bizantina através de dois temas principais: na Teologia Trinitária, a respeito da “distinctio realis” ou “conceitual” (τῇ ἐπινοίᾳ) entre a essência e as energias de Deus; e como esta distinção afeta a Teologia Natural no que diz respeito à relação entre Deus e a criação.
